The Advocacy Center for Children of Galveston County is successful in providing hope and healing to victims of child abuse by our coordinated investigations between the Advocacy Center staff and affiliated team members. The investigation team, consisting of law enforcement, advocates, Child Protective Services and medical experts work hand-in-hand with the District Attorney’s Office to ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice. The Advocacy Center’s primary services are forensic interviews, family advocates, case staffing/tracking, trauma focused therapy and Rainbow Room-emergency resources for children and families we serve.
